The basic functional elements of AutoCAD and its predecessors were first released in the early 1980s, and have been updated since then. AutoCAD’s core functionality is bundled with AutoCAD LT, a smaller, cheaper version of AutoCAD. However, the newer AutoCAD software is not backward compatible. Autodesk’s predecessor, Alias, was released in 1983. Alias was originally designed to be a cross-platform solution, and it was first released for the Apple II, Macintosh and MS-DOS systems.
AutoCAD currently supports the following platforms:
Macintosh (late 2006 and earlier; legacy support from 2011 or later)
Windows Embedded Compact (WEC)
Microsoft Windows 7
Microsoft Windows 8
Microsoft Windows 10
The latest releases of AutoCAD are available for download from the AutoCAD website. The Classic model is no longer sold, but the Professional and Ultimate models are available in an «older» mode to allow existing users to upgrade to newer versions.
AutoCAD’s graphical interface was first released in 1983. In 1984, the first version of AutoCAD was introduced. It included a large number of tools and functions. In 1992, the AutoCAD program was completely rewritten for Windows NT. By 1996, the number of computer and hardware platforms the program supported had increased, to include Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows NT 4.0, Windows NT 4.0 SP4, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
As with previous versions of AutoCAD, this version has a very large set of commands and graphical tools, many of which predate the product. Because of this, AutoCAD for Windows has a somewhat unique and slightly outdated design, resulting in a layout that appears to be somewhat cluttered. In 1992, the AutoCAD program was completely rewritten for Windows NT. This version brought a new look and feel to the program that many users liked, but they also perceived it as overly complicated.
The following versions of AutoCAD are available:

AutoCAD Cracked Version LT, developed by MicroStation/Autodesk, is a version of AutoCAD For Windows 10 Crack for smaller companies and organizations that do not need to use AutoCAD’s full functionality.
Autodesk Inventor, is a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software application, available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms, developed by Autodesk. Inventor can be used for the creation of small designs (e.g. a fence), such as architectural design, mechanical design, and electrical design. It is the replacement for the earlier Autodesk Architectural Desktop.
Many of its functions, including the ability to import and export various formats of 3D geometry, are similar to those of AutoCAD. 3D features of Inventor are available in both 2D and 3D modes.
Like AutoCAD, Inventor does not directly import and export any formats outside of its own native formats. It can import DWG, DXF, and 3DS files using AutoCAD interoperability files. Inventor can also export to 3DS and DWG (and DWF). Inventor models can be exported to VXD, the native format for Virtualization.
Inventor runs natively on Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms. Inventor also runs in a virtualization environment called Virtual Inventor (VI) on Linux, which allows users to run Inventor in a virtualized environment. Autodesk first released a beta version of VI in March 2007.
Autodesk Inventor 2
Autodesk Inventor 2 was released in early 2008 with many new features. Autodesk acquired the rights to Inventor from Dutch company Royal HaskoningDHV and then rebranded it as Autodesk Inventor 2. The user interface of Inventor 2 was redesigned with a new interface and the Navigator tool. The new Navigator tool allows users to navigate through a design using a map representation of the model. It also allows users to choose a certain portion of a model and navigate through that portion with a simple mouse click. The Inventor 2 ribbon is being replaced with a tabs system. The tabs system allows users to configure the application using the new tab structure. Users can also access the Inventor workspace by using the OpenInventor workspace command which is located on the

AutoCAD not only allows you to create complex 3D designs, but also to view 2D drawings on a 2D drawing window. In AutoCAD 2023, you can view 2D drawings in a new design window and in a conventional drawing window. You can use Windows floating widgets to easily switch between the two designs.
The new design window provides the following:
Float your cursor on the design surface and select a new floating widget. Floating widgets are rectangular objects that can include other floating widgets and controls. The widgets can be resized, and their location can be adjusted.
In the design window, you can select and edit 3D geometry, perform 2D drawing commands, and use the new CAD tools. The floating widgets are also designed to enhance the 2D user experience.
The new design window also has the following:
The Design Window panel enables you to quickly change the active window by clicking a button on the Design Window panel. You can now move drawings and objects from the 2D drawing window to the new design window.
You can use the new Design Window toolbar to hide all floating widgets and objects in the design window, to hide floating widgets and objects that overlap the floating widgets, or to disable floating widgets. You can also use the toolbar to control floating widgets and to add floating widgets to the current 2D drawing.
